چکیده
Abstract Red brick waste (RBW) powder was used as a reinforcing filler for acrylonitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) preparing eco-friendly composites. The main constituent of this is silica which considered to be one the traditional fillers in industry. So it worthwhile get suitable manner by using NBR. Physicomechanical properties were evaluated, including tensile strength, elongation at break, hardness shore A, and change mechanical after thermal-oxidative aging seven days 90 °C. In addition, equilibrium swelling toluene prepared composites also included. Moreover, cross-linking density measured according Flory Rehner's equation. From physicomechanical measurements, observed that strength (shore A) increased with increasing content because red filler's stiffness. contrast, break degree decreased content. morphology polymeric monitored scanning electron microscope reflects uniform distribution inside NBR matrix. electrical magnetic NBR/RBW evaluated. measurements revealed values ?? increase while ?'' decreases dc conductivity ? lie order 10 –11 S/cm. This finding recommends such could insulation antistatic applications. show superparamagnetic behavior Therefore, obtained electromagnetic based on measurements. Graphical

Barrierity of hydrogenated butadiene-acrylonitrile rubber and butyl rubber after exposure to organic solvents.
Resistance of antichemical clothing primarily depends on the type of material it is made from, in particular on the type of polymer used for coating the fabric carrier. This paper reports on systematic investigations on the influence of the cross-linking density of an elastomer and the composition of a cross-linked elastomer on its resistance to permeation of selected organic solvents. Tests of...
متن کاملAn investigation on chloroprene-compatibilized acrylonitrile butadiene rubber/high density polyethylene blends
Blends of acrylonitrile butadiene rubber/high density polyethylene (NBR/HDPE) compatibilized by Chloroprene rubber (CR) were prepared. A fixed quantity of industrial waste such as marble waste (MW, 40 phr) was also included. The effect of the blend ratio and CR on cure characteristics, mechanical and swelling properties of MW-filled NBR/HDPE blends was investigated. The results showed that the ...
متن کاملContinuous emulsion copolymerization of acrylonitrile and butadiene: Computer simulation study for improving the rubber quality and increasing production
This theoretical article investigates an industrial emulsion copolymerization of acrylonitrile (A) and butadiene (B), for the production of grades BJLT and AJLT of a nitrile rubber (NBR). The simulated process involves a train of eight continuous stirred-tank reactors operating at 10 ◦C. The product quality is determined by its molecular structure (average copolymer composition, average molecul...
متن کاملGloves against mineral oils and mechanical hazards: composites of carboxylated acrylonitrile–butadiene rubber latex
Resistance to permeation of noxious chemical substances should be accompanied by resistance to mechanical factors because the glove material may be torn, cut or punctured in the workplace. This study reports on glove materials, protecting against mineral oils and mechanical hazards, made of carboxylated acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber (XNBR) latex. The obtained materials were characterized by a ...
متن کاملDegradation of acrylonitrile butadiene rubber and fluoroelastomers in rapeseed biodiesel and hydrogenated vegetable oil
III To my mother and father IV ABSTRACT Biodiesel and hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO) are currently viewed by the transportation sector as the most viable alternative fuels to replace petroleum-based fuels. The use of biodiesel has, however, been limited by the deteriorative effect of biodiesel on rubber parts in automobile fuel systems. This work therefore aimed at investigating the degradati...
